EZ-Tack

American Biltrite is pleased to announce the introduction of our EZ-Tack” rubber flooring adhesive tape system. This “peel and stick” system has been tested and approved for both our Marathon and AB Pure tile and sheet products.

Advantages

• Good for areas with moisture up to 90% RH!  Note that in some cases a separate warranty can be obtained for moisture readings up to 99%.
• Once the floor is laid, after using a 100 lb. (or greater) roller, immediate foot traffic is allowed and initial maintenance can be performed.

How the system works

• The rubber flooring is sent out where the adhesive system is applied to the flooring product and repackaged. It is then forwarded to either the distributor warehouse or flooring contractor.
• Always install the EZ-Tack on a clean, air-dried substrate; a primer/sealer is essential in all cases.
• The EZ-Tack adhesive tape system works great in high rolling areas. The only place it is required to use a regular 2 part adhesive is in operating rooms and patient rooms where a bed is moved back and forth, right and left, as the twist and turn will result in adhesion break (or with heavy rolling loads).
