There is no question that as a society we are consuming too many of our natural resources. For some time this concern has prompted us to assess the contribution we, as a company make.
As one of North America’s largest producers of rubber flooring, we are committed to operating our business and facilities in a manner that uses resources wisely as well as protecting the quality of our environment, the health of our employees and our community. We currently employ processes to recycle & reuse trimmings, dust and webbing into new products as fillers or as high quality backing for acoustical and sports flooring products like “DuraSport”. The use of reusable bulk containers and packing reduce our dependency on uneconomical delivery systems and energy. This allows us to offer a broad range of rubber and non-rubber flooring products.
However, the question still remains “is this enough”? As a company we think we can do better and as we refine and improve our knowledge in the future we will continue to look for ways to contribute to the conservation of our environment while offering the best products possible. In the end, we all share the environment we live in and its our collective responsibility to protection and maintain our future.
